COVID-19 Grant Funding – where are we at?

Oswestry BID have been working closely with Shropshire Council to understand where they are at with the roll out of the COVID-19 Grant Funding as promised by Government.

Yesterday, it was confirmed that Shropshire Council were in receipt of the updated guidance they need to follow from Government.  They are now working their way through the information and putting processes in place to get this funding out to all of the businesses that are eligible.

They are hopeful that they will have more to report within the next few days and have assured us that they are already taking steps to ensure that the process and therefore payments will be completed as quickly as possible.
