New addition to Oswestry BID Board
Oswestry (Business Improvement District) BID have announced that Duncan Tipton, manager of Wilko Oswestry, will join the Board to represent the local large retail sector.
Shropshire born and bred, Duncan has worked in retail for 33 years, having been at Wilko Oswestry for the last 16 years. Wilko has been serving Oswestry since 1982 and is an important training centre for new and assistant managers around the UK.
‘It’s his understanding of the changing face and challenges of the high street for retailers, and specifically his local knowledge, that makes his perspective so valuable to the Board,’ said Ian Follington, BID Chair, ‘we’re really pleased he’s joined the team.’
