As Oswestry BID moved into the second half of its current 5 year term, its Board of Directors has seen some recent changes.
Firstly, Deputy Chair, and long-standing director, Heather Noble announced her decision to stand down from her position on the Board. Heather has been actively involved with the BID from the beginning, and the Board will miss her positive presence and creative energy.
BID Chair, Ian Follington, said ‘It is with some sadness that I note that Heather Noble will be stepping down as a Director at this AGM due to pressure of work. We will miss her enthusiasm and passion for all things Oswestry and I would like to record my personal thanks to Heather who has been a key member of the team over the past 4 years, right from the first discussions of a Business Improvement District for Oswestry. Without her energy, vision and commitment Oswestry BID wouldn’t exist. Heather please accept our heartfelt gratitude.’
The BID also welcomes new Board Director, Mark Derham, owner at Bridge Coffee and present chair of Oswestry Chamber of Commerce. Mark brings much experience in working with businesses across town to help build a better trading environment for all.
