Shropshire Towns & Rural Housing (STAR) are offering a free cookery course in partnership with the team at OsNosh to help their residents eat well for less in these times of rising food and energy prices.
The cookery workshops will be held in a number of locations every other Wednesday, Day time sessions will be held from 10am to 1pm and evening sessions from 5.30pm-8pm. Sessions will be held in Oswestry and surrounding villages with plans to have workshops in the South of the County later this year. All ingredients and equipment are provided, as well as recipes cards and a meal. Help with travel can be arranged and any extra support needed can be discussed.
Every household taking part in the course will also receive a free slow cooker with the aim of helping our tenants produce their own healthy and tasty meals from low cost ingredients in a way that is energy efficient.
