Ten x Ten Gelplate Printing Workshop with Jane Hunter – at Willow Gallery
Spend a creative day drenching yourself in colour and pattern.
Using a 10cm x 10cm gelplate you will create a range of images on paper and fabric by investigate colour texture and layering. We will have a look at image transfer too.
The resulting images can be used for a variety of creative projects including collage, concertina books and slow stitch projects.
It’s great fun and the compact format allows for great experimentation.
Students need to bring their own acrylic paints, those in small bottles are perfect.
Jane will provide gel plates, paper and cotton fabric as well as variety of objects for pattern making.
Feel free to bring along anything you would like to experiment with paper, fabric or foliage.
Don’t forget an apron and a bag for your work.
