Oswestry In Bloom are taking part in the RHS Big Seed Sow (27th March-1st April), by holding a ‘Seed Swap’ event. This will take place on the Bailey Head on Wednesday 29th March and Saturday 1st April between 10am-1pm.
It’s that time of year for planning our gardens and allotments for the year ahead. There are often more seeds than we require in a packet! So bring along your surplus seeds in the packets, or unwanted whole packets of seeds, to exchange or donate.
Oswestry in Bloom is also running a sunflower planting competition with local schools this year. For this, they require small pots for each child to grow a sunflower. If you have any spare pots ( even yogurt pots) you can donate, please bring them to the ‘Seed Swap’. We would rather reuse than buy new.
At the ‘Seed Swop’ there will be the opportunity for children to plant a seed and take it home.
Please come along and let’s get – “GROWING TOGETHER “.
