The Return of Cae Glas Live

This summer on Saturday 18 June, Oswestry Town Council are pleased to announce that the music festival returns to Cae Glas park. The long-awaited event is scheduled for one day, starting at 10am and finishing at 9pm. For music lovers, this will be a real treat with local bands performing all day between the main stage and support stage, set up in the park.

The family friendly festival will be requesting a suggested donation of £1 per entrant, which will be going to Hope House as the principal charity for the event. With a collective donation from the event, the hope is to contribute to the support of children and their families through Hope House. The charity is a lifeline to families experiencing a child with a terminal illness or the loss of a child.

There will be plenty of entertainment for the family, with fun and games by the way of a fairground and lots of food stalls to offer plenty of options. This is an exciting moment for your children to experience the music festival for the first time, that was for some of us, an annual fixture some 15 years ago. Local bands will playing on the Oswestry BID sponsored stage and not to be missed are YUBABA, The Innocent, Shameless Faith, Monkey Wrench, The Manhattans, The Bartells, Proof of Age and Kizzy Mae.

In the past, the music festival was always a packed-out event, with families spending the day on picnic blankets, socialising and enjoying the summer weather. This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy themselves and something the Council hopes to continue going forward.

NOTE: Wristbands can be collected on the day from the entrance.
