Oswestry Borderland Tourism is awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service

We are thrilled to tell you that Oswestry Borderland Tourism (Visit Oswestry) has been awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

The award is equivalent of an MBE and is awarded to groups which are primarily led by volunteers. This year there are just 281 in the country and only 8 in Shropshire!

OBT have been promoting Oswestry and the Borderlands as a great place to visit for over 30 years and have been supported by our amazing volunteers. So special thanks to their directors, town guides, and Tourist Information helpers. Also thanks to their members, all business owners in and around Oswestry and who enable OBT to continue promoting our beautiful area.
