New Colourful Signage for Oswestry Industrial Estates & Business Parks

New colourful lamppost signage has now been installed on Oswestry Industrial Estate and Artillery Business Park. The wayfinding project led by Oswestry BID  has set out to make navigation easier and smoother for delivery drivers, customers and clients.

BID Manager, Adele Nightingale, is pleased that the project has come to fruition. “It’s been quite a challenge to work with all the highways legislation to find an effective solution, but we believe the bold, colour-branded banner flags will make a huge difference to the way the estates are understood, navigated and used.”

The project was originally conceived following consultation with Industrial Estate businesses that signage had been poor and difficult to follow. BID says that the new signage will not only help customers to find businesses, but also improve the traffic flow as delivery drivers will be clearer as to their route.

BID are looking to monitor and review the effectiveness of the signage in the coming weeks. “We’d like to hear from businesses on the estates to see what additional signs may be required to complete the project,” said Adele, “and also look to trim back any overgrown foliage to improve visibility.”
