Oswestry Balloon Carnival 24th-25th August 2019
Oswestry Balloon Carnival returns this weekend, 24th -25th August 2019, for a spectacular second year following a hugely successful first year, with over 8,000 people attending.
The two day family charity event will be held within the award winning Cae Glas Park, in the heart of the town centre.
This year’s Balloon Carnival is set to be even bigger and better with events extending into the town to give Oswestry the complete Carnival feeling. There is something for all of the family with fire eaters, live music, local dance & gymnastic companies, food stalls with cuisine stretching across the globe, novelty stalls and crafts and even an amazing fun fair with rides that aren’t to be missed.
Most important we have over 30 hot air balloons attending with some very interesting shapes attending including the Ricoh Cube, Koala and Emoji balloon.
Finally…….Don’t miss the return of the Night Glow on SATURDAY 24TH AUGUST 2019 within Cae Glas Park from 9pm.
This years Night Glow, sponsored by Lindstrand Technologies, will be the Greatest Showman Themed and Fancy Dress is welcomed.
You will also be able to buy glow items from the event fun fair and all monies from glow items purchase will go towards supporting Nightingale House Hospice.
The event is for all of the family with a suggested £1.00 donation to go towards Nightingale House Hospice who deliver palliative care services for patients across Shropshire, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.
