Oswestry is Shropshire’s second largest town and its location on the north west corner of Shropshire. This means that is considered one of Shropshire’s less well known areas. The town enjoys excellent road connections, such as the A5 and A483, bringing Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Chester and the North Wales coast within easy reach.
Living in the town means enjoying the, mostly Victorian heritage with pleasant housing developments clustered around the outskirts of town.
Home of Welsh Premier League Champions, The New Saints F.C., Oswestry has a reputation for sporting excellence. Across the board from athletics to golf, football to martial arts, from cycling to swimming, tennis to cricket - there are great clubs and venues for all levels to participate.
Oswestry also has a vibrant Art scene too, with Qube, The Willow Gallery and the Oswestry Visitor & Exhibition Centre, showcasing local artists and exhibitions.
