Morrison’s Roundabout in Bloom!

There’s a lovely new addition to Oswestry’s floral displays this year – the ‘Morrison’s roundabout’.

The initiative by Oswestry BID (Business Improvement District) to bring a welcoming splash of colour to this busy town route is now in full flourish.

“We’re so pleased to see this come to fruition,’ said BID Manager, Adele Nightingale. “It’s been great to work together with Morrison’s, who kindly gave their permission to go ahead, local company Evans Aggregates, who provided the essential top soil, so our thanks to Jon and his team. And Oswestry in Bloom, who have done a superb job in the design and planting up. We are grateful to everyone for their enthusiasm and support – a real local team effort!”

The project is looking to plant flowering shrubs and annuals on the roundabout in Autumn too, in the hope of enjoying a colourful display all year round.
