The popular Love Oswestry Festival returns in 2026 during February half term week (16-21st February). The Festival promotes the culture and creativity of Oswestry and culminates in a spectacular community lantern parade on Saturday evening (21st February).
In recent years Love Oswestry has seen workshops from all sorts of artists and creatives, from clay, print, storytelling, music, metal work, knitting, and arts and crafts. These workshops are intended to be free or low cost to the public and hope to provide something for all ages and abilities.
For Love Oswestry 2026, we are inviting local artists and creatives to pitch their ideas for creative workshops. We are currently applying for funding and would like to create a rich program of activities for the week and for the final lantern parade.
We welcome ideas and briefs from all backgrounds and budgets. It can be a small or a big idea. Depending on our funding success we will select applications that demonstrate a varied program that we can accommodate into our budget.
Deadline for first round of applications is Friday 21st November 2025
