This amazing event is run in association with Elevate Balloons and co-sponsors, Oswestry Town Council and Oswestry BID (Business Improvement District). It is set in the award winning Cae Glas Park of Oswestry, and open to all ages. Whilst entrance to the park is free, visitors will be asked to make a £1 donation to raise funds for event organisers, Nightingale House Hospice charity.

Given the importance of health and safety in the park, the organisers have made some changes to improve access to the event. As such, this year, there will be no requirement for wristbands. In the event that the park reaches its full capacity, then to maintain a safe environment for all, access to the park will be based on a straightforward, one-in-one-out basis.

Whilst it is hoped to see hot air balloon flights early on Saturday and Sunday, and perhaps some early evening flights too, the organisers would like to make clear that all decisions on flights are taken by the Flight Director after a full assessment of the weather conditions.
