Update on Oswestry Cultural Consortium

Oswestry’s Cultural Consortium is a key part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) with a focus on the town’s culture and heritage. Oswestry BID are proud to be an active partner in the initiative which has already made some real, positive changes in Oswestry – check out the Latest Newsletter for the full story!

Featuring:

  • Plans to celebrate to story of the Qube’s 30 years in Oswestry.
  • The new beautiful archways in the Cae Glas Park passageway.
  • Heritage Open Days are back from 9-18 September!
  • Cambrian Railways will be offering an exciting programme on both weekends 10-11 and 17-18 September.
  • Culture Fest, brought to you by Arts Connection, will also take place on Saturday 10 September.

This project is part of a national programme funded by Historic England, and the group includes Oswestry’s Library, Oswestry Town Museum, Cambrian Heritage Railways, Oswestry Borderland Tourism and Oswestry Business Improvement District (BID), together with local cultural organisations Designs in Mind and Qube.

We look to support and encourage the cultural and creative organisations of Oswestry to work together and to develop and deliver great cultural events and activities which help us to celebrate Oswestry and its great history.
