Local High Street app launches national charity initiative to support the NSPCC
LoyalFree, app partner of One Oswestry, has expanded their ‘Give As You Save’ charity initiative to support the NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity.
LoyalFree is a multi award winning place promotion app with exclusive deals, interactive trails and event listings. Users of the app can also collect digital loyalty stamps from their phone.
The ‘Give As You Save’ charity initiative, first created in November 2019, donates 1p to charity every time a loyalty stamp is collected on the app in any of the 25 towns and cities across England and Scotland currently using the app. So far the LoyalFree give as you save initiative has led to donations of over £1,400 to worthy causes across the UK.
Sophie Hainsworth, Co Founder of LoyalFree said: ‘‘We know that Covid-19 and the lockdowns restrictions have been distressing for many children and families across the UK and so we wanted to support the work the NSPCC does to help. I would encourage everyone to download the LoyalFree app and start giving as they save!’’
The NSPCC added: ‘Everything we do protects children today, prevents abuse tomorrow and transforms society to make child abuse a thing of the past. We’ve made 5 million children safer from abuse in the last three years but this simply wouldn’t have been possible without the kind support of organisations like LoyalFree.’’
Users of LoyalFree don’t need to do anything differently – they can keep using the app as normal and feel great in the knowledge that they are giving as they save, with an extra incentive for customers to swap from paper loyalty cards to a digital version!
App users can collect loyalty stamps at many of their favourite local businesses including Cave Valley Kitchens, Petworld and Meraki Colour.
LoyalFree will continue to donate to the NSPCC until April 2021, before moving the campaign to support another wonderful charity.
